I couldn't be a hypocrite!!!

I submitted a video to Rydell Chevrolet and I WON A CAR!!!  It wasn't just any old video. I decided to put the same effort into it that I expect from my students.  When the contest ended, I wanted to use the video in my classroom. I wanted to show students the difference between just meeting the contest criteria and taking it to the next level. I video taped myself saying pretty much the same thing, while just sitting at my desk.  I showed both examples to the students.  We talked about the content and the way the information was presented.  It was good for them to see both videos and make a comparison. It was also good for them to see that I am not a hypocrite!

A lot sure has changed in the classroom over the past 4 years, but one thing is the same....KIDS STILL ROCK!  Their love of learning and willingness to work is an absolute joy to be around.  I have missed that.

I can't wait to share how things are going and showcase student work.  It is going to be so much fun to implement what I have learned from the technology dept.  Let the games begin!!!

Our theme this year is, "Be Someone's Hero".
